HDDVD movies are cheap and most of them are on sale right now. If a person has an HDDVD player, would you honestly think he wouldn't take advantage of that offer? Bluray will win this format war, there's no question about that. It's all about clearing inventories now.
Toshiba is the only one prolonging this war since they have invested alot in HDDVD.
For an extra $129 you can play soon-to-be phased out HD movies on your console.

Most people are forgeting that the 3 year warrantee is almost up for some 360 owners. Just imagine how many millions of 360 owners will pick up a new 360. And more 360 owners are buying more than 1 console so that they can continue to play their games when one of their console breaks down.
At the end of the day, you just have to love the way Micros...
